About Us

Voices for Valor, Inc. is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Volusia County. We bring together disabled veterans who need their homes made safe and young people who need skills, purpose, and mentors.

Our Story

Voices for Valor is new in name, but not in mission. It brings years of hands-on service, volunteers, and church partnerships together under one organization built to grow.

Before founding Voices for Valor, our founder worked for several years with the Florida Methodist Conference, leading youth mission teams that repaired homes for disabled veterans and low-income seniors across Volusia and Flagler counties. Along the way he has led teams of young people in repairing homes for more than 20 disabled homeowners.

He also worked with Two Vets on a Mission, partnering with touring musicians to raise awareness and support that helped place more than 20 service dogs with disabled veterans. That partnership with musicians is where our name comes from, and we plan to keep working with musicians as we grow.

Why It Matters

Too many veterans live in homes that no longer fit their needs, and too many feel forgotten. Too many young people never get the chance to learn a trade or find a mentor. When we put them on the same job site, both sides gain something lasting: a safer home, real skills, and a relationship built on respect.

Our Values

Honor · Service · Hope · Stewardship · Community

We spend carefully, partner with local churches, businesses, and volunteers, and keep our work focused right here in our community.
